Trip to Minnesota (Summary)

It is journal, It is summary because too long and some are not relate to Minnesota. and it is 13 pages but I type, it is 8 pages! Enjoy!

Trip to Minnesota

On Thursday, July 17, 2008. We woke at about 8am and put our one or two suitcases in Trunk (back of Car) and put my two backpack and two bags in back seat. We turn off lights, computers, VRS and lock door.
At 9:26am, we leave house and drive to Post Office and Bank. At 10am, We leave from Post Office and Bank and go to Pennsylvania Turnpike and go to Highway. I bring DVD player, DVDS, Books, Papers, Markers/color pencils, and snacks. Mom brings her books too. I drew two picture on two papers, one is frog and other is duckling. On Highway, I look at window and look at cars and write on paper what I saw Cars’ licenses on back of the cars.
10:38am, Still on Highway, We are about half hour from Ohio and We been went there in Ohio, few times in 1999, 2000, and maybe 2001 because We went to Cedar Point, 6 flags, and Put-In Bay (boat). At 11:06am, We are in Ohio. We stopped and mom took picture of me stand by the Sign but not too near to sign, just about 4-5 feet away.
11:51am, We stopped at Plaza (for relax/bathroom break/eat) and we go for bathroom and we go in store and I got key chain, it said Ohio, Buckeye State. 1:28pm, We eat lunch about an hour ago and Restaurant name is Manchaca Chinese in Plaza. It is good, I had chickens, noodles, and egg-roll. Then we eat yogurt from TCBY then go to in car and drive.
2:10pm, we are on highway still, I saw one car from Michigan and one little bumper sticker said STEELERS, weird? People from Michigan support Steelers, Weird but cool. 3:10pm, We are still in Ohio. Only 3 ½ hours to Rockford, Illinois, 196 miles to Chicago.
3:34pm, We are in Indiana! And Now in PA is 4:34pm because Ill, Ind, MN, and WI are CST and it is one hour back from PA and Ohio. At 4:26pm, About 45 minutes ago, I bought Indiana Key chain! 5:09, We are halfway to Indiana. 5:19pm We are in Illinois and Mom took picture me by Sign too! We passed Huge factory, White Sox football stadium. 7:45pm, We stopped at Wendy’s at 715pm, We eat good dinner, and I had salad. Only 30 minutes to Hotel.
Thursday night (830pm), we swim and I not like pool, it is too cold inside when I go in Hot tub and went out and goes in cold pool and it is really cold and pool is so small!
Friday, July 18, 2008. We leave at 8:06am and we eat breakfast at 7:40am. I ate half cereal, chocolate glazed donut, and coffee but I not like that coffee and I drank tasty cranberry juice. 8 hours to go to Minnesota.
8:32am, Wow there is so flat in Wisconsin/Minnesota. PA has so many hills and Minnesota/Wisconsin are so flat. 8:52am, We are in Wisconsin. But they’re no sign, weird? At 12:18pm, We are in Minnesota about 11:45am or before noon.
About 3-5 hours to Hotel! We ate lunch at Taco Bell! 1:34pm, We are stopped for last time and we went to little store and bathroom break and buy beef jerky.
Sunday, July 20, 2008, We are so busy on 18th and 19th but I tell you now! Friday, maybe early evening like 330pm, We went to Walnut Grove. We went in museum and gift store, and eat dinner. I had Mashed Potato, Corn, Pork, and little pie. Pork is not my favorite meat. Night time, We went to watch pageant, Oh my! I love that pageant very much! I met new friend whose is deaf, her name is Melissa, and she live in north Minnesota.
Late night, we went to hotel and sleep. Next day, we went to Walnut Grove again. I wear my pioneer dress (white with little green/blue/red flowers), pantaloon, stockings, and hike boots because I not have that pioneer shoes.
We meet twins, they are very nice! I wrote little notes and give to them! At first when we stand in line and I feel shy but when meet them and I feel not shy.
At 1pm, I not sure because I didn’t write it in journal. We ate big hot dog and drink then we stand because there many people got sit and full. We listen to Twins talking about life and little house, I glad we have video about them.
At about 4pm, we went to Mexican Restaurant, We ate really good dinner! I think I ate Fajitas. Then went to hotel again and we swim then bed.
Next day, We went to Mall of America! It is in north Minnesota. We like there. Huge mall with 4 floors. We go to Ride the rides! There so many rides and not have time to do all so we did 4 times. Three time with daddy on 3 roller coasters and one ride, I did myself on one ride, I like it.
We went to back to hotel, I have no idea what time arrive because I didn’t write on journal sorry. Oh yeah in Mall, We ate lunch, I have Arbys, they have Asian something.
We went to back to Illinois, We ate dinner and I not like it. Perkins, I had hamburger and soup. Hamburger had hard rim and it taste awful but soup is good.
Monday, July 21, 2008, Last day. We leave from store at about 10am, we are in east Ill. I ate breakfast at 8am or 9am, I ate bagel with jelly and cranberry juice. At noon or little after noon, we stop at store and got latte and key chain!
I saw one street in Minnesota, it said Penn Ave, same one in Pittsburgh, weird! 1:39pm We got lunch at Hardee’s, oh my! Hamburger is superb! And Curly fries! We are 9-10 hours to home.
4:09 EST, 2 ½ miles or so to Ohio! 6:01pm, We are in middle of Ohio! Did I forget about dinner? I not write it in journal too! Oh I ate in McDonalds, not really like McDonalds. 8:18pm, We just enter to PA!, still on PA Turnpike! At 9:21pm, We are home.
While 19 hours (stops and sleep and other), Which states I saw on cars’ licenses. PA, Ohio, Ill, Ind, FLA, CA, WI, MN, Iowa, and MI.
I bought key chains- MN, Ill, Ind, and Ohio. I not have WI but maybe order it. At Gift store what I bought- Tin Cup, 3 candy canes, one bonnet (white with pretty red and blue flowers), nightcap or dust cap, 2 old magazines! 1975 and 1976, few post-cards, and little pageant bag.
I will go back to there someday and I love there! Oh yeah I forget about Plum Creek! We went on Tour bus and we saw beautiful prairie, Laura Ingalls Wilder home and dugout and creek. I wadded in warm creek. I thought creeks are cold but Plum Creek is warm.
